Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is a bit better than Galaxy M01, with a score of 79.6 against 74.7. Galaxy A40 is an older device than Galaxy M01, but Samsung made it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
Galaxy A40 features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M01, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a quite larger display and more pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy A40 has more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy M01, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A40 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy M01 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Samsung Galaxy A40 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy M01, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a much bigger aperture, a larger camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a more megapixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy M01 counts with greater battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
