Sony Xperia 1 is better than the Galaxy M01, having an 82.6 score against 74.7. Even though Sony Xperia 1 is older and a little heavier than Galaxy M01, it's body is still thinner. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M01, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy M01, because it has much more pixels per inch in the display, a little bigger screen and a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Xperia 1 counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy M01, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal storage.

Xperia 1 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy M01, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse resolution, it also counts with a way bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low light situations, a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy M01 features longer battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
