Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy M01's 74.7 score. Although Xperia 1 II and Samsung Galaxy M01 were released only 0 months apart, the Xperia 1 II construction is incredibly thinner but just a bit heavier. Both phones in this comparison review use the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.
Xperia 1 II has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy M01, because it has a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a quite bigger display and a lot greater display pixels density. Xperia 1 II counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy M01, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 II also has more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 1 II has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M01, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1000 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Xperia 1 II's battery lifetime is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy M01 one.
Sony Xperia 1 II shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy M01, because although it has a worse resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a much larger back camera sensor which gives a much better photo and video quality, a lot bigger camera aperture for better images and videos in low light environments and a way better (4K) video resolution.
