The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy M01, getting a general score of 79 against 74.7. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy M01 has Android 11, so it gives you some nice extra features. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is a somewhat thicker cellphone than Samsung Galaxy M01, but both of them have the same weight.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M01, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy M01, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels count per inch in the screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
Xperia XZ2 Compact captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy M01, because it has a much larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality, a way higher video quality, a larger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations and a back facing camera with a way better 19 MP resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features more storage for applications and games than Galaxy M01, because although it has an external SD slot that admits 112 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Galaxy M01 has a much better battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 39% larger battery capacity.
