Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a global score of 79.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy M10's 73.5 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy A40 construction is somewhat lighter but a little bit thicker than Galaxy M10, and they were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A40 has 11 version and Galaxy M10 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a little better performance than Galaxy M10, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A40 has a much better display than Galaxy M10, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a lot better pixels quantity per inch of screen.
The Galaxy A40 has a bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy M10, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy A40 also has 32 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy M10 features a bit better battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity against 3100mAh.
The Galaxy A40 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy M10, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A40 also has a bigger camera aperture to take better low light photos, a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a back camera with more mega-pixels.
