The Galaxy M12 is a bit better than the HTC One M9, with an 80 score against 77.7. Galaxy M12 is a heavier cellphone than the HTC One M9, but both are 0.38inches thick. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy M12 has a newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0.
HTC One M9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a graphics processor and a 64-bits CPU. The HTC One M9 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a lot higher amount of pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy M12 shoots slightly better videos and photos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a much better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera and a larger aperture for better low light photos and video.
Samsung Galaxy M12 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage capacity. Galaxy M12 has a way better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 111 percent more battery capacity.
