Galaxy M12 has an overall score of 80, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's general score of 78.7. The Galaxy M12 body is noticeably newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, although it's incredibly heavier and thicker. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M12 has the previous 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better looking screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a much greater pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy M12 has a much better storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1 TB.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M12, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
