The Galaxy M12 has a general score of 80, which is a bit better than Motorola Edge (2024)'s 78.5 general score. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Galaxy M12 body is noticeably older, somewhat thicker and extremely heavier than Motorola Edge (2024). Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M12 has 10 version while Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14.
Galaxy M12 has a lot better hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Motorola Edge (2024) has a much better display than Galaxy M12, because it has a higher screen pixels density, a much better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a quite larger display.
Motorola Edge (2024) has a bit bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy M12, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge (2024) has a camera that's very similar to Samsung Galaxy M12's camera, although the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a larger aperture to capture better low light photos, a more mega-pixels back camera and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.
The Galaxy M12 has better battery performance than Motorola Edge (2024), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
