Motorola Edge 40 Pro is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M12, getting an 83.4 score against 80. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the newer 13 version while Samsung Galaxy M12 has Android 10. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's body is way newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy M12.
Samsung Galaxy M12 features a much powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Edge 40 Pro counts with a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because it has a greater count of pixels per inch of screen, a little bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro features just a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy M12, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy M12 features better battery life than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a 30 percent bigger battery capacity.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy M12, because it has a larger aperture, a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a way higher 7680x4320 video definition.
