The Samsung Galaxy M12 is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, getting an 80 score against 77.6. Even though Samsung Galaxy M12 is newer than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, it is just a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Moto G8 Plus features a much better display than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a better pixels amount per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 has a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1 TB. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a CPU that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy M12 one, they have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Moto G8 Plus shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a 48 MP camera in the back, the Moto G8 Plus also has a bigger aperture to capture better photography in low-light environments and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition. Samsung Galaxy M12 features a much better battery life than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
