Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than the Moto G8 Power, having a global score of 80 against 76. Both phones we are comparing work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Samsung Galaxy M12's body has the same thickness than the Moto G8 Power, but it's somewhat heavier.

The Moto G8 Power has a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels count per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2300. The Samsung Galaxy M12 features more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB.

The Moto G8 Power features a processing unit that is very similar to the Galaxy M12 one, they have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. The Galaxy M12 takes clearer pictures and videos than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 has better battery duration than Moto G8 Power, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
