The Galaxy M12 has a score of 80, which is a bit better than the Moto G9 Play's 76.7 overall score. Both phones in this comparison review have the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Even being the best cellphone in this review, it must be noted that it is also a a bit thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play features a processor that's very similar to the Galaxy M12 one, both have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Moto G9 Play and Samsung Galaxy M12 both count with incredibly similar displays, both of them have a greater number of pixels per inch in the display, the same exact 720 x 1600px resolution and a same size screen.
Samsung Galaxy M12 has a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy M12 counts with better battery life than Moto G9 Play, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
The Moto G9 Play counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have a 48 mega-pixels resolution camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Moto G9 Play also has faster video frame rates and a larger aperture for better low light images and video.
