Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than Galaxy J7 Max, getting an 80 score against 76.1. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M12 has 10 version and Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version. The Galaxy M12 construction is noticeably newer than Galaxy J7 Max's, although it's thicker and heavier.

Galaxy J7 Max has a brighter display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1080 x 1920px resolution and more pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy M12 counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy J7 Max counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M12. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy M12 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
