Comparison review

The Galaxy M12 has an overall score of 80, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy J8's general score of 76.7. Although Galaxy M12 is way newer than the Galaxy J8, it's notably heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 10 operating system, so both should provide the user identical operating system features.

The Samsung Galaxy M12 features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy J8 has a display that's just as good as the Galaxy M12 one, because although the Galaxy J8 has a bit worse 720 x 1480 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater count of pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy M12 counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M12 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1 TB. The Galaxy M12 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has a 71 percent more battery capacity.

Galaxy M12 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light captures, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
