Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy M12, with a overall score of 81.9 against 80. Although Galaxy S8 Active is way older and just a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy M12, it's body is still just a little lighter. Galaxy S8 Active has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M12. Both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Galaxy S8 Active features an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a way higher screen pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy M12 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also counts with a camera in the back with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
Galaxy M12 has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy M12 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy M12 has a much longer battery life than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery size.
