Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy M12's 80 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 III has a newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version. Even when Xperia 1 III and Samsung Galaxy M12 were released with only a couple of months difference, Xperia 1 III is lighter and somewhat thinner.
Xperia 1 III features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy M12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 8 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 III has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and much more pixels per screen inch.
Xperia 1 III captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a back camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy M12, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy M12 counts with better battery life than Xperia 1 III, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
