Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is better than the Galaxy M12's global score of 80. Although the Xperia 5 III and Galaxy M12 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Xperia 5 III is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Xperia 5 III has newer 11 version and Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version.
Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
