The Galaxy M12 has a global score of 80, which is a little bit better than Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy M12 has newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1. Galaxy M12 is a a lot newer device than the Xperia Z5, although it is extremely thicker and incredibly heavier.
The Xperia Z5 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M12, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional GPU. The Xperia Z5 has a much better display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a much greater pixels count per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy M12 counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a camera in the back with lot less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures.
Galaxy M12 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
