Galaxy M12 has a global score of 80, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Galaxy M12 has a more recent 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1 version, providing some additional features. Galaxy M12's design is noticeably newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better looking screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a much greater pixel count per inch of display.
