The Xiaomi Black Shark is just a bit better than the Galaxy M12, getting a general score of 80.4 against 80. These phones use Android operating system, but Xiaomi Black Shark has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy M12 has Android 10, providing the user a couple nice extra features. Xiaomi Black Shark's body is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy M12, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before.
The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a higher display density. The Xiaomi Black Shark features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M12, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy M12 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light captures, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy M12 has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy M12 has a superior battery life than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
