Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy M12's 80 score. Both phones in this review have the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. The Xiaomi Mi 9T is an older cellphone than the Galaxy M12, but Xiaomi was able to build it just a little bit thinner and lighter.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 9T has a sharper display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2340.
The Galaxy M12 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy M12 features a superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have a same resolution camera, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
