Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M12 has a general score of 80, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Poco M3's 78.2 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. The Samsung Galaxy M12 design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Poco M3, but it is somewhat heavier.
The Galaxy M12 and the Xiaomi Poco M3 have very similar processing units, they have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM. The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a greater screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 has more storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Xiaomi Poco M3's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery duration in Galaxy M12.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy M12, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a bigger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low-light environments.
