Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M12 has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has Android 11 version. The Galaxy M12 construction is somewhat heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features a much better display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the screen and a way better 1080 x 2400px resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a bit faster processor than Galaxy M12. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy M12 counts with a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy M12 counts with improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
The Galaxy M12 takes clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos or video in poorly lited environments, they both have a 48 MP resolution camera.
