Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with a global score of 80 against 75.8. Although the Samsung Galaxy M12 is incredibly newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it is somewhat heavier and thicker. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M12 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a better display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy M12 has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy M12 has a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M12 also has a camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and video.
The Galaxy M12 features a much better storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy M12 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy M12 features a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
