Comparison review
Galaxy M12 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, getting a general score of 80 against 77.2. Although Galaxy M12 is a lot newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M12 has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Galaxy M12 features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a greater display density.
Samsung Galaxy M12 shoots better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The Galaxy M12 counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy M12 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy M12 features a much longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
