Samsung Galaxy M20 has an overall score of 78.9, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's overall score of 78.1. Samsung Galaxy M20 is a notably older and just a little heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, but Samsung was able to make it a little thinner anyway. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M20 has an older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M20. Both of them have 8 cores and 4 GB of RAM. The Galaxy M20 features a bit better looking display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a larger screen, more pixels per screen inch and a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy M20, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a bigger aperture to take better low light images and videos and a higher resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy M20, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB. Samsung Galaxy M20 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 67 percent greater battery capacity.
