Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy M20's overall score of 78.9. Both phones in this comparison come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Even when the Xiaomi Mi 8 and the Galaxy M20 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 8 is somewhat thinner and a bit lighter.
