The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a score of 91.5, which is better than the Galaxy M20's 78.9 general score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the newer 12 version and Galaxy M20 has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple additional features. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer is a somewhat heavier phone than Galaxy M20, but both of them have the same thickness.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has 4 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer features a little sharper display than Galaxy M20, because although it has a little lower count of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bigger screen and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M20, because it has a larger camera aperture, a camera with a much better 200 MP resolution, a much higher video quality and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and photographs.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy M20, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy M20 has improved battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
