Comparison review
Galaxy M30 is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8, getting a global score of 82.4 against 79.5. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M30 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14, so it provides the user a lot of extra features and a performance increase. The Galaxy M30 body is just a little thinner and extremely lighter than the Asus ROG Phone 8, despite of the fact that it was released 5 years before.
Samsung Galaxy M30 has a very superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy M30, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution and a little bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M30, because it has a 10% more battery size.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M30, and although they both have a F1.9 aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a way larger sensor taking lot better quality videos and pictures, a camera in the back with a much better resolution and a way better 7680x4320 video resolution.
