The Samsung Galaxy M30 is a little bit better than the Honor 50 Pro, getting an 82.4 score against 77. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M30 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11 version, giving lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy M30 is a way older and just a little thicker cellphone than Honor 50 Pro, but Samsung could make it a bit lighter anyway.
The Honor 50 Pro features a little bit better screen than Galaxy M30, because it has a just a bit better display pixel density, a quite bigger display and a slightly higher 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy M30 has just a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Honor 50 Pro, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Honor 50 Pro counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M30, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 50 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Honor 50 Pro shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same aperture, the Honor 50 Pro also has a lot better (4K) video resolution and a camera with a much higher 108 mega pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 features improved battery lifetime than Honor 50 Pro, because it has a 25 percent larger battery size.
