Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is slightly better than the Galaxy M30, with an 85.3 score against 82.4. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 body is way newer and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy M30's, but it's heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has 11 version while Galaxy M30 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy M30, because it has a larger display, a little better pixels count in each display inch and a much better 1892 x 2688 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a back-facing camera with lesser megapixels, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better images and videos in low-light situations and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Galaxy M30 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
