These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Moto G31 has Android 11 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements. Galaxy M30 is an a lot older cellphone than Moto G31, but it is a bit lighter and a bit thinner anyway.

The Moto G31 has a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Moto G31 also has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit better screen density. Motorola Moto G31 counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy M30, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

The Galaxy M30 has a little bit more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G31, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Motorola Moto G31 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a camera with a lot higher 50 megapixels resolution.
