Comparison review
The Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy A31's 81.3 global score. Even though the Galaxy M30 is older than the Galaxy A31, it's construction is just a bit thinner and a bit lighter. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M30 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A31 has Android 10 version, so it counts with some additional features.
Galaxy A31 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M30, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy M30, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a little better pixel quantity per inch in the display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Galaxy M30 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A31, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M30 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy A31 takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a way higher resolution camera and a much larger back camera sensor capturing way higher quality photographs.
Samsung Galaxy A31's battery duration is just as good as the battery lifetime in Galaxy M30.
