The Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Alpha's score of 76.3. Galaxy M30's design is incredibly thicker and extremely heavier than Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy M30, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 4 lesser processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional GPU. Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy M30, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720px, a lot smaller screen and a just a bit lower pixels density.
The Galaxy M30 counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Alpha takes a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy M30, because although it has a lesser megapixels resolution back facing camera and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a lot higher video quality.
The Galaxy M30 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 169 percent greater battery size.
