Comparison review

Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J8's general score of 76.7. Galaxy M30's construction is a little bit thicker but a little bit lighter than the Samsung Galaxy J8, and both were only released with a couple months difference. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version.

Galaxy M30 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy M30 also has more RAM memory. Galaxy M30 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a better display pixel density, a bit bigger screen and a way better 1080 x 2280px resolution.

Galaxy M30 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy J8, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M30 counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy J8 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality, a camera in the back with more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture.
