Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than Galaxy M30, with an 85 score against 82.4. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Galaxy M30 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy M40 is a a little lighter and just a little bit thinner cellphone than Galaxy M30, even though both of them were released only 3 months apart.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy M30, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better screen pixels density and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Galaxy M40 has as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as Samsung Galaxy M30, they have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB and the same internal storage capacity.

Galaxy M40 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy M30, because it has a lot higher resolution camera in the back, a larger aperture, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
