Galaxy M30 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, having an 82.4 score against 78.1. Galaxy M30's construction is incredibly newer, but somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker than Galaxy S5 Plus. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, so it gives a couple additional features.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a more vivid screen than Galaxy M30, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy M30, because although it has 4 lesser cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos, a more mega pixels camera and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Galaxy M30 has a much better battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 79% larger battery size.
