Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Black Shark's 80.4 overall score. Samsung Galaxy M30's construction is newer, a little bit lighter and a little thinner than the Xiaomi Black Shark. Both devices in this review include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system).
The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Black Shark features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy M30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Black Shark takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a lower 12 MP resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light environments, a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Galaxy M30 features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M30 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M30 features better battery performance than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a 25% larger battery size.
