Samsung Galaxy M30 has a general score of 82.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro's global score of 80.5. Although Samsung Galaxy M30 and Xiaomi Note 7 Pro were released only a couple months apart, Samsung Galaxy M30's construction is a little thicker but just a bit lighter. Both of these phones use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M30. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy M30, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels density and a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.

Xiaomi Note 7 Pro features a greater camera than Galaxy M30, because it has a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a much higher image quality, a larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low-light environments, a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot better resolution back camera.
