Comparison review
The Galaxy M30 has a score of 82.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's global score of 75.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version, offering some additional features and enhanced performance. The Galaxy M30 construction is newer and just a little lighter, but also just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a processor that is just as good as the CPU in Samsung Galaxy M30, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a display that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy M30's screen, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher display density.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a much better memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy M30 has longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery size.
The Galaxy M30 captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy M30 also has a larger camera aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a higher 13 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
