Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the LG G8S ThinQ, getting an 85 score against 82.5. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M40 has the previous 10 version and LG G8S ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Samsung Galaxy M40 construction has the same thickness than the LG G8S ThinQ, but it's just a little bit lighter.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels and a little smaller screen. LG G8S ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy M40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8S ThinQ features a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy M40 takes just a bit better videos and photos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
The LG G8S ThinQ features just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 3550mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
