Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than the LG K62, getting an 85 score against 78.2. Both devices in this review work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. The Galaxy M40 body is just a little lighter and just a bit thinner than LG K62, even though it was released around a year before.
The LG K62 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy M40 has a more vivid display than LG K62, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a much better pixel count per inch of display.
The LG K62 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG K62 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG K62 has a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy M40, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy M40 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than LG K62, because although it has a much lower resolution back-facing camera and a lot smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture to take better low-light images and video.
