Samsung Galaxy A42 is a bit better than the Galaxy M40, having an 87 score against 85. Both devices we are comparing include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A42 has 11 version and Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version, giving you a couple additional features. Samsung Galaxy A42's design is newer, but heavier and a bit thicker than Galaxy M40.
