The Galaxy A50s has an overall score of 86.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy M40's overall score of 85. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS. Although the Galaxy A50s and the Galaxy M40 were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy A50s is a little lighter and a little thinner.

Samsung Galaxy A50s and Galaxy M40 both feature very similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy A50s has a just a little inferior pixels amount per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display. Galaxy A50s's memory capacity to install games and applications is very similar to Samsung Galaxy M40's one, both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Galaxy A50s counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Galaxy A50s has a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy A50s features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A50s also counts with a lot larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way better resolution camera.
