Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a general score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy M40's 85 general score. The Samsung Galaxy A71 design is just a bit heavier but just a little thinner than Galaxy M40, and they were only released 8 months apart. Both phones in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version while Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version, so it provides a couple additional features.

Galaxy M40 has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels count in each screen inch. Galaxy A71 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M40. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.

Galaxy A71's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the Galaxy M40 one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Galaxy A71 has better battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

The Galaxy A71 captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality photographs.
