Galaxy M40 is better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, with a global score of 85 against 76.3. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Galaxy M40 has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version. Galaxy M40 is a much heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
The Galaxy Alpha counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy M40, although it has a little lower count of pixels per inch in the screen, a way worse 1280 x 720px resolution and a really smaller display. The Galaxy M40 features a very superior storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 96 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy M40, because although it has less RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy M40 features a better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M40 also has a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
Galaxy M40 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
