Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Fold has a score of 97.6, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy M40's 85 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Fold body is much heavier but somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy M40, and they were only released 3 months apart. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Fold has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10, providing the user a lot of extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a quite higher screen pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy M40 takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, a smaller camera aperture and a smaller sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Fold features improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.
