Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than Galaxy XCover Pro, with a score of 85 against 81. Even when Galaxy M40 and Galaxy XCover Pro were released with only 8 months difference, Galaxy M40 is extremely lighter and notably thinner. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Galaxy XCover Pro has Android 11 version.
Galaxy XCover Pro features a display that is very similar to Galaxy M40's screen, they have the same count of pixels per screen inch, a same size screen and an equal 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Galaxy XCover Pro has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has much more storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy M40 captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a camera with a lot higher 32 mega pixels resolution, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot larger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The Galaxy XCover Pro has superior battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
