Comparison review
Sony Xperia PRO is much better than the Galaxy M40, with a score of 94.3 against 85. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding operating system features. Sony Xperia PRO's construction is newer than the Galaxy M40's, but it's extremely heavier and notably thicker.
Xperia PRO counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia PRO also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xperia PRO features a more vivid display than Galaxy M40, because it has a way higher quantity of pixels per display inch, a little larger display and a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Sony Xperia PRO features a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 384 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy M40 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Xperia PRO, because although it has worse video frame rate and a lot tinier sensor providing a much worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size camera aperture, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a way higher resolution camera.
The Xperia PRO has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.
