Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, having an 85 score against 82.9. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has Android 9.0 Pie. Even when the Galaxy M40 and the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy M40 is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a little inferior pixels number in each inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also counts with a bit larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 14 percent greater battery size.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light photography, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also counts with a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a camera in the back with much more megapixels and better video frame rate.
